Sedona Sojourns
Since 1993 Kathryn has been creating sacred journeys to the red rocks of Sedona. It is nestled into the higher desert of Arizona where the indigenous tribes of the southwest have lived and created ceremony for thousands of years.
Kathryn first came here in 1990 and through the prophetic words of those that she met there and the wondrous experiences of spirit, she has created a relationship with the powerful energy of mother earth and has continued coming back, time and again.
Each trip begins with an itinerary, opening circle on the first day and closes with a ceremony of closure. All of the adventures in between are unique to the small group of seekers that gather to experience together the transformation of their hearts, the finding of deeper purpose and the healing that is automatic with any such seeking that comes into anyone's life. We start this journey in Cairo, at the Giza Plateau, with the Pyramids the Sphinx and temples; as well as the old pyramids at Sakara, camel riding, a vist to the Cairo Museum, bellydancer/whirling dervish and more.
Then we travel by night train to Aswan, the Nubian culture and the temple of Isis (Osirus & Horus), and after a few days there we will board our feluccas (sailboats) for a few lazy days on the Nile River, stopping at the temple Kom Ombo, and finally getting off and going to Luxor.
We will visit the temple of Karnak and Dendera, if there is time and return for our closing at the Giza Plateau. Amazing journey to the ancient life of Egypt.
This trip includes some food, ground transportation and accommodations.
